From Salzburg (Villach, Munich), take the A1 motorway exit Thalgau, through Hof and Fuschl to St Gilgen (21 km). From Vienna, take the A1 motorway exit Mondsee to St Gilgen (15 km). Alternatively, take the bus or taxi from Salzburg main train station through Hof and Fuschl to St Gilgen (28 km).
